ProRail Selects Nsecure for Security Overhaul

Nsecure has secured a contract worth six million euros to replace and manage access and security systems at 36 locations managed by ProRail. ProRail had previously expressed a need for a single contractor to handle all security systems under the Facility Affairs department. Nsecure, having previously developed ProRail’s Digital Safety Passport (DVP), was deemed the most suitable partner. In addition to installing new systems, Nsecure will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and management of these security systems, including replacements and system expansions at ProRail locations managed by Facility Affairs.

350 cameras

This applies to a total of 36 locations, including traffic control posts, offices, incident response locations, and project sites. The systems and components include access control for approximately 600 access points, camera observation with around 350 cameras, intercom systems with about 150 intercom points, intrusion detection and perimeter detection with approximately 400 detection points and 90 perimeter detection zones, registration and accreditation services, and a safety management platform.

12 million euros

ProRail and Nsecure have signed a framework agreement with a duration of four years. There is an option to extend it twice for two years, up to a maximum duration of eight years. The maximum value of the agreement is 12 million euros.
