Launch of YIM (Your Identity Management)

On November 7th, Nsecure hosted the pre-launch of YIM. The YIM (Your Identity Management) workflow and identity solution proves its added value for organizations across various industries. Different modules such as accreditation, visitor and contractor check-in, e-learning, and document management ensure that access processes are streamlined and automated.

With YIM, complex access procedures, time-consuming reports, and long waiting times for access and the start of work are avoided. The solution includes a centralized storage of digital personnel files with all relevant data, documents, and certificates, and is offered from a certified data center.

YIM: Your Identity Management

To stay ahead, ensure continuity, and solve things faster, safer, and more efficiently, Nsecure chose to thoroughly review the current Dataclient solution and give it a complete overhaul. The foundations for YIM are based on access control, identity management, safe working practices, and compliance. These topics now play a prominent role in the daily operations of organizations. Based on these themes, the new application was further developed using a blueprint. Additionally, sessions and interviews were conducted with organizations, contractors, and end users to gather their requirements as accurately as possible.

Attention was given to existing functionalities and the technical possibilities available today. This, combined with the outcomes from brainstorming sessions and interviews with specialists and end users, has led to the development of a completely new platform based on the latest technical capabilities. The development of YIM has already begun. A pilot is expected to launch in the spring of 2020. Using an agile approach, new components will be added to the platform every two weeks.

Accessible, Secure, and User-Friendly

The design of YIM emphasizes the added value it must provide for organizations, administrators, and end users—accessible, fast, efficient, user-friendly, and forward-thinking. During the pre-launch event, extensive discussions took place around the strategic foundations needed to create the next-generation solution for workflow and identity processes. Additionally, interactive sessions were held on various subtopics such as functionalities, support, and the appearance of the new user interface. The architecture was explained, and the initial aspects of YIM were showcased within the development environment. The open architecture enables integration with various security, ERP, HR systems, ensuring that business processes are optimally managed and fully automated.

Stay Informed

The next step is to test YIM’s MVP in a pilot with a player from the industrial sector. During this pilot phase, Nsecure will work with various (end) users to evaluate how these new building blocks align with daily processes, usability, and speed.
