Security Solution with an IT-First Approach for UWV

The Dutch Employee Insurance Agency (UWV) oversees the nationwide execution of employee insurance schemes such as WW, WIA, WAO, WAZ, Wazo, and Sickness Benefits. UWV also provides labor market and data services. To ensure secure and efficient service delivery—especially considering the rise in flexible working—Nsecure has migrated all UWV offices to a centralized access and security environment.

Security as a Service

In 2018, UWV issued a tender for an integrated security solution across all locations.

UWV previously operated with fragmented access control systems, where each location used a standalone solution.

UWV has also adopted a more flexible approach to remote working, allowing employees to work closer to home instead of commuting to central locations like Amsterdam. This made a centralized access control system essential.
